The New York City Office of Technology & Innovation (OTI) and Mayors Office of Operations (Operations) invite submissions in response to this Request for Information (RFI) to help determine the feasibility of leveraging emergent technology, particularly ground-scanning technologies, to build a more complete and accurate picture of built underground infrastructure in New York City. The goal of this RFI is to collect information to support the goals of the 3D Underground program (3DU) - https://www.nyc.gov/mayors-office/news/2025/11/mayor-adams-announces--10-million-platform-to-map-new-york-city-, a cutting-edge program to develop a highly secure, 3D-data-sharing platform for New York Citys underground built and natural environment. The platform will help government agencies and utility companies securely share and access information about what lies below New Yorkers feet, such as water and sewer pipes, gas lines, electrical conduits, fiber optic cables, and soil composition. This RFI is released through PASSPort, New York Citys online procurement portal, as an RFx. Responses to this RFI/RFx must be submitted via PASSPort. Scope of Work The Work under this Contract (RFQ No. 517985 Elevator Package) consists of the rehabilitation, modernization, maintenance, and service of twelve (12) elevators across six (6) residential buildings, including eight (8) elevators in four (4) buildings at Cassidy-Lafayette Houses and four (4) elevators in two (2) buildings at Woodson Houses. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental services necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a consultant team to provide Progressive Design-Build services for the integrated delivery of the design and reconstruction of the Coney Island Riegelmann Boardwalk (the Project). The Coney Island Riegelmann Boardwalk (Boardwalk) is located between W 37th Street on its west end and Brighton 15th Street on its east end in Brooklyn along the southern shore of the Coney Island peninsula. It is located on property under the jurisdiction of the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation (NYC Parks) and is maintained and operated by NYC Parks. The Project will consist of the reconstruction of the 2.4-mile Boardwalk structure in its entirety, including piles, piles caps, and the decking system, and will be designed to improve climate and storm resiliency in the area by elevating portions of the boardwalk to approximately +16 NAVD88, including protective barriers in the subgrade. The Project will also include: topside amenities including site furnishings, lighting, fencing/railings, public access stairs/ramps and street end plazas; utilities, including but not limited to drainage, water service, and electrical; renovation and/or replacement of 9 restroom buildings, 6 lifeguard stations, and 4 shade pavilions; improvements to an open space at the Boardwalks eastern end; and demolition and reconstruction of a new garage building, which will include a public restroom. NYCEDC plans to select a consultant for this Project through a two-step procurement. The first step of the procurement will be to create a short-list of the most highly qualified respondents to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), based on the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) submitted by each respondent.
